1. How quickly could you do my résumé?

Your résumé, once background information on you has been compiled, would typically be completed in no more than 3 to 7 business days. We can, if need be, do résumés on a rush basis (pricing). We recommend, however, that whenever possible, adequate time be given. Superlative résumés, so vital to your career success, take time to produce. Many hours are devoted to research, writing, editing, formatting, proofing, and polishing each résumé.

2. How do you compute the cost of your services?

We do not offer "flat fees" for our professional writing services because of the many variables that enter into your project. Common sense will tell you that an executive with 20 years of experience, perhaps in a number of different companies and environments, will be more demanding of our time and expertise than would a recent college graduate. On the other hand, we have found that most of our clients prefer "packaged services", that include at once résumé development, cover letters, laser printed copies, and or options (pricing).

Supplemental services, such as career coaching, research, mailing lists, or the like, are priced largely in keeping with industry standards.

Finally, although we seek to remain competitive in our pricing, we also believe that "you get what you pay for". We sincerely believe, as our clients and others will attest (testimonials), that you will find our work truly exemplary.

3. Why should I hire you rather than someone else to write my résumé?

For three primary reasons:

·         Superlative careers and employment experience. There are many excellent writers among our peers in this segment of the employment industry, but few of them can also boast as many years as us in working one-on-one with clients from the start to the finish of a career campaign. In addition to over 5 years of high tech recruiting experience, we have over 20 years of coaching clients from virtually every profession and every level of management move into new jobs or careers. That in-depth assistance to those like yourself has proven invaluable in writing the very best of résumés, because we know you, and the concepts, language, and values that your profession represents. Consequently, we have developed a feel for who you are and how best to package you for today’s very competitive job market. 4. When is payment due?

As with others in our industry, prior to delivery of services, unless there is just and reasonable cause for a delay in payment.

Fast Forward Career Services works with clients from literally every level and every career field. We welcome those who are just graduating or striving to reach the highest rungs of corporations or institutions. Most of those we serve are executives, managers, or professionals (resume samples).

6. May I choose my own stationery and format?

Of course. However, we have found that hiring managers seem to prefer certain types of stationery and formats, and we would suggest what we thought best suited for your own career goals.

7. Can I get my résumé on a floppy disk or CD-Rom?

Once your résumé or other career materials are finalized and approved by you, they will be emailed to you and/or mailed to you on a floppy disk or CD-Rom free of charge. However, because our clients’ computers and operating systems differ, we cannot promise that our formatting will be retained. We will do our best to accommodate your particular needs.

8. What if I find an error on the résumé you prepare for me?

We make every effort to present you with an error-free résumé, but should you find an error (or simply decide you wanted something worded differently), we will make such corrections free of charge within 30 days of delivery of the finalized version.

9. Other résumé services offer a refund if I don’t get an interview within 30 days. Do you?

No! Frankly, we regard that sort of promise as misleading. There are simply too many factors that can prevent one’s getting an interview quickly: a poor job market, a desultory campaign, and many others. However, we will rewrite the résumé within 30 days of acceptance of the final version if you are displeased with it for any reason.

10. How can I get started?

We will give you an honest appraisal of what we think would be best for you and an initial quote. When you decide to get things started, we will fax, email, or mail a Special Order form, background assessment tools, and other materials as needed.

12. What if I need an update to my résumé?

We store résumés here in the office for all our clients, so updates and revisions are quickly done. Just send your changes to us by email, fax, or post office, and we’ll make the necessary changes at a nominal fee.
